Fall or spring depending on the shrub, dig around it and get all the ball with roots out. Then dig a whole larger than the ball, add good dirt and cover. Keep the top of the root above the ground. water daily.
Wait til fall and dig it up. Dig another hole and drop it in.
It is kind of late now to move a shrub. I lost one transplanting it this time of year. Wait until spring, you will have better luck with it making it. Water it continually.
Fall or early Spring are ideal times.
