Crystal vases looking milky!

How do u get them back to look clear & shiny, instead of dull looking?

  • Have you tried soaking in white vinegar yet? See if that helps. Typically they get cloudy from the lime and calcium contained in most tap water.

    Use Dawn dish soap for a sudsy water bath (luke warm) for your crystal, then pat and dry with a soft cloth or towel. Use a very soft tooth brush, if you need to clean any crevices. I have also used a cool water spritz and pat dry.

    soak them in white vinegar! Then wash well

    I also have used the vinegar on many glass vases, wine glasses, drinking glasses, anything glass with success. It also works on any lime and calcium deposits on faucets, etc. my mom even uses it on her shower doors and the door trac. to keep them clean of water spots.
