Its best to use a polyurethane or other sealer so that it lasts a long time
Hello, if you are not planning on sealing it you need to use gloss paint as it cleans up easier so it lasts longer.
Quite honestly, it will hold up as long as you do the prep work and follow the steps. Part of that means taking the doors off to paint, which many people don't want to do. Also do as Hillela said. The steps don't always tell you to put on a sealer but she is right! It will hold up much better if you do that.
Good luck!
Very good?,
Good luck! Cant wait to see your finished project!
Use paint specifically for cabinets. You can find good cabinet paint at Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore. We painted kitchen cabinets with SW cabinet paint and have been very pleased with it.
