How to control purse clutter

I have quite a few large size purses/bags that I’ve been looping the straps over hangers. Unfortunately that doesn’t seem to be a feasible option as they are bulky and quite cumbersome. Some are a bit heavy as well. The weight alone has broken the tops of the hangers off. How can I store them and yet have easy access to them when I want to change them out?

I ended up putting Command hooks on the wall behind my bedroom door (you could use the inside of a closet door) and hanging my large purses on them.
My daughter hangs them on hooks covering the walls in her dressing room. They're fun to look at and convenient.
I purchased two large silver rings that are for scarfs from Walmart that hang up. The rings are large enough to place several handbags on and they close so they don't fall off if you bump them -
I bought plain silver shower curtain rings for a couple of dollars at Big Lots. I use them for my purses as well as my tank tops and chemises. They work very well.
