Poir a little vinegar over the stain, sprinkle with baking soda. It will bubble out the stain. Absorb with a clean white rag or towel. Let dry, vacuum. Always works for me. 😉
Dish soap and water or hydrogen peroxide.
I use Dollar Tree Homestore Foam Carpet Cleaner and a soft carpet brush. They also have the liquid spray thats good for stubborn spots. So I keep both at all client's houses.
You can also try using Woolite. I had a very large dark brown paint stain in my very light colored burber carpet that sat for about a month before I knew it happened. (Tenant) It was my painter who got the stain out. I assume if it can work for paint, and since it's not harsh it shouldn't do any harm to try it before anything more expensive. Good luck!
