Personalized Coasters are a fun unique gift for any celebration or occasion. Creating something that you can customize in so many different ways makes the gift even more special. These DIY Personalized Coasters are easy to do, look super elegant, and will be a stunning addition to any coffee table.
Basic white 4" ceramic tiles I found at Lowes. They were less than $2 for 10 of them. Pretty craft paper, felt for the bottom, Mod Podge and a pretty vinyl decal cut using my Cricut. That was all that was needed to make these pretty coasters.I started with a generous coat of mod podge.
I started with a generous coat of mod podge. Measured, scored and cut the scrapbooking paper to fit the tile. Then I added another coat of mod podge on top of the scrapbook paper. Once that layer was dry I applied the vinyl decal. If you don't have access to a cutting machine, you can purchase precut letter stickers also. The coasters got 2 more coats of mod podge, just to make sure they were water resistant. Once everything was dry, I hot glued pretty felt to the back to keep them from scratching the surface.
This was a pretty pink and gold set I did for a birthday gift.
A wedding gift for a coworker. I love the black and white together, it was very classy. With all of the different scrapbooking papers out there now, your possibilities are endless. I love crafting with paper. These coasters are just one of my projects.
These fun kitchen magnets were also made using scrapbook paper. Be sure to check them out too RIGHT HERE. Thanks for looking, and as always if you love our projects, be sure to sign up for the Daily DIY Life Newsletter! So you never miss a new project or recipe.
