There are porcelain tiles that are rated for outdoor use; I have seen them in tile stores. They have a finish that isn't slippery.
Thwre are tiles made specifically for outdoor use. Check a local tile store to find them.
I would say "no". They won't hold up in bad weather, if you live in the east or northeast. If you live where there is sun most of the time, it would seem to be OK.
Would be extremely slippery if wet!
