How do you get rid of spiders in my basement/house? Prefer a natural

    Spiders don’t like vinegar or peppermint. 1/2 white vinegar, 1 and 1/2 cup water 20 drops peppermint essential oil. Also, spiders do like cardboard, so don‘t store things in them.

    When you find out , please let me know ! We have spiders throughout our house . I'm with you I don't want to kill them . My granddaughters on the other hand , after screaming would demand that " Grandpa kill it , its so big , really grandpa ", bigger than your head ". Good luck lol

    Peppermint oil in a squirt bottle 5 to 10 drops and have granddaughter spray away. Will not hurt dogs or cats, and did not stain my couch. If direct on spider will kill. But they go away if you keep respraying. Broom webs and should be good to go.

    don't know of 'repellants that work for spiders --- try to make the 'environment' unfriendly for them -- no food source, dry, light, lots of activity with brooms, dust mops, vacuum cleaners !

    try lemon mint or lavender oils..... they don't like them neither do ants or mice!
