We have the same type tops. Ours are white. Instead of trying to change them, we changed the cabinet under it by removing the top, raising the cabinet to "comfort height" by putting legs under it to raise it off floor. Then we painted the cabinet matt black. Put the top back on and added new faucets. It turned out great! If you use this idea you will need to buy some plumbing adapters/pipe to extend the pipe before the loop because your present pipe hook ups will no longer fit after the sink bowl is raised.
Cultured marble doesn't take paint well, or long term, especially the sink. You can have it redone by cultured marble specialists. A new top is cheaper.
Some people cut the sink out and put a new one in and paint the counter.
