I have several old solar lights with the glass crackle globe on top. The solar part doesn't work anymore. What could I do with the glass globes?
A storage ottoman, a coffee table with drawers or shelving below top with a few nice cubes for storage, a few well placed tall bookcases with doors on bottom half, and I have a 6' long cabinet behind my sofa instead of a sofa table that stores all my china, crystal, serving platters, table linens, silver etc. My end tables each have a drawer also, my TV sits on a chinese tang sofa table that has the wireless printer below.
You can do it by adding the look of tables, bu they actually are totes or containers covered with a cloth to fit decor. Baskets are also a great way to go
Use furniture pieces, whether new, second hand or made over and place attractively so it looks intentional rather than plastic bins stacked in a corner. You can have a 2drawer wood file cabinet as an end or lamp table. Make sure each piece of furniture has storage or is multi purpose.
