I'm not having success in my garden- what am I doing wrong?

It can take years to get the soil amended properly to give you good production on vegetables etc... I would go and talk with someone at a LOCAL nursery... they will have the best information on what the soils in your area need, what are the best variety of plants to use, and they will have the best recommendations on the products to use for best results.

Also... if you see someone with the results you want... ask them how they get them.

What kind of garden, and what did you have in it. Also what amendments did you put in the soil. What did the plants do that you planted that you think they were not successful? Sorry about grilling you, but more info will let us help you.

I would have the soil tested. A local extension (in my state its the Penn State extension). Google with your zip code for soil testing.

gardeniq.com is a website for Nitron products. Nitron was first manufactured in the 1970's and it has survived the times. I bought my first bottle in the 80's. I haven't found another product even comparable. The A-35 is the original "Nitron". Now they have numerous products for what your soil needs. You may want to have your local Agricultural Extension Office test your soil and they can tell you want its lacking so you'll know how to counteract the deficiencies. I hope this helps.

You can take your soul to community action if you ha e one near you. I believe they still test the soil to see what you need.

You may need to research your plants to see if they need the light you are getting there. Some plants like more or less sun.

If the plant needs to be on a mound make sure you follow the planting directions.

I have been gardening for many years. The soil in my garden is one-third soil, one-third manure, and one-third sand. The sand is for water retention. Watering is very important. I use a soaker hose to water my garden. It's really a long hose with pin holes down the entire length. I don't want to water the leaves.of my plants. I want to water the soil and the root systems. I water every morning for 15 or 20 minutes during the summer. The last thing that I want to mention is pollination. No matter what the plants and blossoms look like, you will not get any veggies without pollination. If you don't see any bees in or around your garden, go out there and jiggle the stalks ever so lightly. A plant without proper pollination will yield 20 - 25 percent of it's capacity. With proper pollination, that same plant will yield 90 - 95 percent of it's capacity. That's a big difference, isn't it? I hope this helps you. Good luck and Happy Gardening.
