Unicorn SPiT is a water-based stain that does some great things other paints just can't do. You can buy it in 8 oz. bottles for around $15 a bottle, but some colors are a little cheaper. It is patented, but I'm sure paint companies are working to get something similar on the market. You can use it as stain, and it seems to get deep into the wood. It is also a paint which can be diluted up to 1:1. You can apply color on top of color, and in so many other ways. It is also a sealer, but can be sealed with another product if you wish. It goes a long way with little waste. You can now buy it at Walmart and lots of other places. I found a set of 4 oz. bottles online, so that was a good buy for a first timer. Try it out! Best wishes ππ
