Hope that helps. BTW, this is a specific brand of paint, but the theory should apply to all paint. Having said that, I believe that the bottom line is that you want to add dish soap to paint when it's left over in the brush or in a paint tray.
Wouldn't do it. In theory supposed to make the paint flow better. Other chemicals in dish soap may affect the paint.
Yeah I am a professional faux painter, and it would not be advisable to mix other chemicals in with paint. You could have a horrible mess.
