no you should not paint over wallpaper.Sand the wall s until you have a smooth finish, apply a good primer as well prior to painting
re is a thicker paint in paint or hardware stores that you can use a tool to make designs with. It sorta like a spatula. Some has sand like stuff added to it. That what I used. Worked great
Yes you can paint over wallpaper - Emulsion Matt or Satin finish..........
Scrub the paste from the wallpaper off the wall, and.
That should make it smooth. Don't paint over wallpaper
you have to remove the glue from the wall, you can buy wallpaper glue remover at big hardware stores or paint stores that sell wallpaper. Sand the wall with sandpaper. Repair any holes with plaster, sand smooth when dry. Then prime before painting or buy paint with primer in it. Latex primer and latex paint work fine. It is tedious work . I have an old house and have done it in several rooms. If you paint over wallpaper it only makes it harder if you want to take it down later, I would not recommend that. I did it once and it took me four times longer to remove it years later.
