How can I organize my grandsons toys? We just have stuffed in you box?

Try some bright colored plastic stacking crates. You can turn them on their side and stack with books, stuffies, and small toys. I got some plain buckets and decorated with stickers for mine and they can put cars and small toys in them. And they are light enough for them to carry out to living room to play.

Storage ottomans! A bookshelf or two couldn't hurt either.

In my opinion, and from my experience, kids only use perhaps 2 percent of the toys that are in their room. Parents tend to hoard toys "just in case". If little tommy hasn't played with it in the last six months, it needs to go away. The best way to organize is to get rid of things that are not needed. After culling out the keepers and no-keepers, a toy box should work just fine. The child should not have more toys than will fit in a typical toy box.

Im all about smaller containers within the larger one so that you can take out just a few at a time, and find what you're looking for easily instead of digging through a big heap of toys :)

When I was a small child, my mother had a toy box in the attic, that we did not know about. She would pull a few toys out of circulation, then rotate. When the toy reappeared, it was like new.
