Start by putting everything in the middle of the room. Place furniture - then the things that need to go on top and inside. Then the things that go on the walls..........................If there is anything left hang it on the back of doors
put the biggest pieces in position first. then work around them.
Hello Brandi - There are some great under-the-bed storage ideas. For instance, a large plastic shoe divider that has six or nine compartments to hold as many pair of shoes. It zips up and slides under the bed. There are also similar plastic storage pieces to hold your winter sweater, etc. so that when you are not using them they are not taking up space. If your closet has just one bar for hanging clothes, consider an expanding tension closet rod to double your hanging space. If you have a TV, have it wall-mounted. Here is a more thorough guide:

Also, its best to throw away whatever you can to best use your space
Hi Brandi! I used to live in a tiny studio apartment myself. My favorite storage was a Captain's bed, with built in drawers. A wardrobe that doubled as a room divider was perfect for storage and a little privacy. You can check it out here:

Google "Tiny Houses" and "Shipping Crate Houses." There are scads of posts, articles, and even ebooks that make good suggestions for a small place.
