You need to check your local building codes, but this should help https://extremehowto.com/how-to-build-stairs/

You really need an architect and someone who specializes in stairs. There are things behind the walls and sometimes under the floors that can cause problems, like plumbing pipes and electrical cords. You may not see them, but they may run to other place in the house. In addition, there are codes that must be met in most places regarding risers, treads, railings and other parts of the stairs. You don't want to do something then decide to move and not be able to sell your house due to code or construction violations. Having someone come in to fix it will probably cost you more than having it done right when they are built. There are sites online that will tell you how to make stairs, but if they aren't up to the code where you live, you'll end up with a problem. The first one I looked at had that kind of error for where I live. You can also find a General Contractor, but what s/he will do is find an architect and someone who specializes in stairs.

    Good luck!
