Yes. Mix one cup up to two cups of chalky material per quart of paint. Chalky materials include: finely ground chalk, cornstarch, plaster of Paris, borax, Epson salts, and many more. Try out a few of these by mixing a tablespoon of chalky material into 1/4 cup of paint, since each material will give a slightly different texture. 😇💖
I added baking soda to my latex paint, about 2 parts paint to 1 part baking soda and that worked well for me.
I meant to add baking soda and forgot. Gypsom older is also good but I haven't shopped for that for fifty years.
