Amgwalsh on Jun 28, 2014I find that many people now want wood or tile for the kitchen because it is in. I practiced commercial interior designer I found product specifications key to attractiveness and longevity. Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) comes in beautiful wood look as well as numerous tile looks. The previous owner of a house I bought instaled wood floors in the kitchen and they were not suitable for pets and look (toe-nail divets all over.) I big plus is that LVT is warmer underfoot and a little softer. While a wood laminate or true wood floor may not technically wear out from pet use . . . it can "ugly-out" long before replacement. Yes . . . believe it or not Ugly-out is an actual term!
