You can make a cold frame to start cool-loving veggies about a month earlier than you would have used otherwise. You can give some of them to somebody who needs them--when we were remodeling our handyman asked for some of the old windows. He then used them in building an addition to his house, because he and his wife suddenly inherited four grandchildren, and he needed more space.

I have seen them re-purposed as picture frames on the wall, a photo in each pane. Also, we used some of ours to put on a chicken house one time, another one we used for a work shed, and finally a big garage windows. None of them matched, but they were one to a side so it did not matter from the street.
The trendy thing is to use them to display paintings on the glass or photos. Refinish to make the windows look rustic, but don't leave splinters or flaking paint if you will use the windows inside. I like to lean stained glass paintings against bright windows so they can really shine. 😇💖
