    Several species of junipers that are low growing & some spread somewhat. Check your local ag extension service and/or nursery, garden supply.

    1. Helianthemum 'Fire Dragon’. Ever-greyish leaves, orange flowers late spring to early summer.
    2. Hebe 'Caledonia’. Evergreen; violet flowers June-Oct, compact with glossy red-edged foliage.
    3. Leptospermum scoparium (Nanum Group) 'Kiwi’. Evergreen; deep pink flowers late spring-early summer; bronze leaves.
    4. Cistus 'Snow Fire’. Evergreen aromatic foliage, white flowers with a maroon blotch in early summer.
