at least once a week if not more
Which linens? I get 2 days out of a set of bedsheets, but I am hot, sweaty and in the midst of menopause. Same with the the bath towel with 3 showers per day. Cloth napkins get washed after each use. Tablecloths or runners on an as needed basis. My linen drapes are washed on an as neeed basis and the living room ones get sent to the dry cleaner every 3 months when the carpets get cleaned.
Regular people, once a week at least. Depends on how tidy your household is and what you may do for a living. Construction guys need a towel a day at least. Messy kids need more towels.
Ooo boy, I am not so clean as Naomie, although I always thought I was pretty clean. We change our bed linens every two weeks. Husband and I each have our own room. We always use cloth napkins but do not launder after each use as we have napkin rings. We also use tablecloths as well as place mats. Table cloths get changed when I think they need to be. Boy and today I was patting myself on my back for ironing my sheets (which I have done all my life as well as line dry them) You rarely need to bathe often in Maine a/c heat and our water bill is so high (really it is the sewer part) I would be appalled at anyone bathing or showering 3 X a day in my house!
All summer (March-November in Texas), we wash our sheets about once a week, but not always on the same day. In the winter, every two weeks is enough. We use our towels about three times each, unless we got really dirty like when my husband does yard work. I use detergent, bleach, and fabric softener for sheets and towels. My husband used only detergent. We wash and rinse in cold water. 😇💞
