Why is my hen and chick plant getting so tall?
I have had this plant for about 3 years and it stays out side. What do I need to do?
It's actually very nice for small spaces or as a focal point in larger yards. I have one for herbs in my front yard since my backyard is in shade. I like it a great deal since I can water everything, if I need to, all in one fell swoop.
I made one..real pain..bought one , had a hard time keeping it standing up. the next year, I put it in a pot with heavy rocks..was pretty. I didn't do one this year. Instead, I got the little flower pouches..(same idea) put impatients in them and hung the all along my fence in the shade. got so many compliments. bags were heavy..one ripped and I just sat it up against the fence..it outdid all of them. they are in pretty bad shape but I think next year I will lean them all up against the fence.
