Buy your bushes (2-3) and plant them in a sunny location, preferably where they can get some support to grow 'up'. They will take approximatey 3 years to provide enough fruit to do anything with them.

They grow wild around here... little fruit, but free.
The plants that overwinter will bear fruit on LAST year's wood... older stuff gets pruned out.
New growth can be directed and shaped to form a plant that is confined to a desired space. But new growth on Last Years wood is essential for berries!
