I use a mixture of 1/2 c. ammonia and 2 Tbls. liquid carpet shampoo to a 5 gal. bucket. apply with a spray bottle or a clean rag rung out. wuse a scrub brush to scrub into rug or seat then a dry towel to rub as dry as possible. If lots of soul remains repeat the process. Try not to soak surface too much and try to get as much of the cleaner up with your dry towel/s. To dry overnight place a small fan inside car with windows down inside a garage or outside if weather permits.

I use peroxide on a white cloth ( not directly on upholstery) to spot clean then sprinkle entire seat with baking soda and gently rub it around and wait an hour or so vacuum heavily and use a gentle low suds cleaning solutlion like Diane Carson suggested above😉
