vinegar
Vinegar, you are dealing with hard water.
CLR
If the glass has lead in it like crystal does it may be beyond repair. If they do not, vinegar and baking soda, CLR for the outside only, Mr Clean Magic Eraser,
I would first try filling the glasses with vinegar and letting them soak overnight, or longer if need be. If the hard water deposits are on the outside you'll have to put them inside of a container larger than them and submerge them in vinegar.
Sometimes the cloudiness can be due not to hard water deposits, but scratching on the glasses. I used to see this in restaurants and hospital kitchens as over time the glasses in the dishwasher would get covered with fine scratches from touching each other in the dishwasher. If that's the case then you'll have to replace them.
Magic erasers work great also
i di don’t know if clr is chlorox if it is try it fill your glasss with water and pour with chlorox about one cap stir and let it stand for one hour ,wash it with soap rub all surface really good rinse it,do the washing for the second time .if it won’t work discard it and buy knew one
i
I don't remember. I probably wiped in on straight. The product directions are probably safer. I would take a jar or inexpensive glass and experiment. If the deposit is thick it probably needs so soak. Sorry not more help.
