Cabinet Redo. From Blah to Beautiful (before & After)

I purchased this cabinet at a yard sale last week. Cost of the cabinet was $20. I used my own mix of chalk paint for the base coat, then painted over the entire piece in Behr paint, Billiard Table. Love the green. I added a faux leather like finish to the back panel and door. I used light and dark wax, this helped darken the green and protect the finish.
Before and after
Before. I started painting the basecoat and realized I didn't take the before pic.
Basecoat in brown. I made my own version of chalk paint using plaster of paris
Color used is "Billiard Table" it's by Behr. I just used a small sample jar. It was enough to cover the entire piece.
I removed the back panel. Added a faux leather treatment using brown paper, modge podge, glaze and paint.
I also added it to the door. I added a coat of poly to the faux finish.
I used light and dark wax.
another close up of the back panel
I know green is not for everyone, but I really like this color.
She is all done and ready to use.

AJ, that's not a bad idea. I hadn't thought to add a light. I just thought to leave it as is for cords, but now....hmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!
