Because the bathroom was spacious I chose a darker color that was bold but not confining. After choosing the wall color I began to accessorize and bring in items and colors that complimented the walls. I wanted a shower curtain that was bold and fun yet tied into the wall color without detracting from it...I also had to have one piece that didnt match anything else in the room and made it totally "pop" that piece was a bright orange vase. This bathroom had no place for storage since it was a guest bathroom. So,I took a mahogany colored magazine/book rack and used it to house toiletries and other items that are bathroom essentials. This bathroom is now a welcoming place where any house guest will feel comfortable.
This guest bathroom is boring and drab. We painted the walls a bold khaki green to liven up the
The shower was plain with no curtain or liner...
I accessorized with simple yet interesting pieces. This is the room coming together.
The polka dot shower curtain and polka dot towels were a must have! They made the room interesting!
The orange vase was my inspiration piece it makes the room POP and totally come alive.
The finished product is a warm guest-friendly bath w a lot of character!
