Kathy Hord on Mar 17, 2014Yes we had that type in our kitchen. There was a box around it and the cover sat in the box . You can reuse the plastic light cover or go to your local Home store and buy a flat piece of textured plastic that will sit in the box. Ours came with all that and was attached to the metal light fixture. You will have to exam yours to see if you can do it that way. Good luck PHelpful Reply

Juju, the Anti-Gardener on Mar 17, 2014I have one similar to yours. I plan to paint the wood (?) surrounding it white. Or, I saw some square rosettes at a salvage store for 10 cents apiece, so I might get a bunch and glue them around the edges.Helpful Reply
