Entertainment Center Turned Play Kitchen
by

(IC: homeowner)
I purchased this old wood entertainment center from Goodwill and my husband and I repurposed it into a Play Kitchen for our granddaughters first birthday! The sink was a mixing bowl, the faucet was from a remodeled bathroom, and the counter top is stick-on faux marble floor tiles. CD's made the stove burners and white door pulls are the control knobs. We changed the placement of the hinges on the right door so it would drop down like an oven and the shelf inside came with our microwave but we never used it. Though you can't see it in the photos, the right side is painted in chalkboard paint. We had so much fun putting this together and just using our imaginations!

Kristen Baldwin-Dedrick on Mar 24, 2014I LOVE it! I will have to get my husband to do something like this for our grandkids! Unisex of course because we have twin grandsons and a grandaughter all the same age. Thank you for sharing!
