In one town we had a knife sharpening guy who also sharpened rotary blades, scissors and yard tools. He charged less if I had several things to sharpen and he did them once a month. Ask around. You may have to replace the cutting mat, they take a lot of wear and tear but don't last forever. Altho I may be mistaken. Hometalkers? Anyone?
there is a device to sharpen the blades. clean the cutting mat with fresh dishwater and rinse. i don't know of anything that will get the cut marks out.
