help I chalk painted and waxed a dinette set. Need a protective coat over it. Now from reading people say you can’t put a coat over waxed furnitur. Help I ordered this product rustoleum chaulk matte protecto. but it dosent say to use over wax furniture. HELP HELP my set is beautiful what do I do thanks

You keep using paste wax to maintain. Once its waxed, theres no going back.
No clear coat will adhere to a waxed finish. It will just float on top. crack, or peel. Just keep it waxed and that should be enough to protect it.
paste wax for items that will get minimal to moderate use. Chairs, benches, picture frames, lamps, decor that will hang on the wall, even cabinets. You absolutely can use wax on tabletops, but just keep in mind you will need to reapply it a couple times of year to achieve the best protection.
