Updated Laundry Room

Paint, a new shelf and a few new accessories help to update a dated laundry room.
Before and After of our laundry room update
Two coats of stain blocker were required to cover the stencils. Follow the drying directions on the can of stain blocker for drying time in between coats.
A new shelf was added after the walls were painted with Sherwin Williams, Summer Resort. I chose a satin black paint for the shelf, but stained the rod black to keep it from scratching as hangers were added.
The new shelf and hanging rod is my favorite addition to this room. Now, clothing doesn't hang in the laundry sink. The shelf was custom made for this area.

Wow this looks so nice and I love the pole to hang up shirts out of the dryer. You must enjoy doing laundry now - LOL
