Hard water stains in granite sink
Any ideas on removing these horrible water stains from my granite sink? I tried vinegar, didn't touch it! Please help
I have a black granite composite sink and there is a white film all over it that I cannot get off.??
It looks like I've used Comet or Ajax on it and there are remnant of it on the sink. Any ideas on how to clean this off? Thanks

Sounds lIke it needs to be re-sealed. If youāre not a really handy fixer-upper you should probably call a professional.

Home Depot sells products that clean and seal your sink. The cleaning alone will make a difference but the sealing is a must. Not a hard project, just can't use the sink for awhile.
If the counter top is real marble granite, it will take de greaser , Clorox, baking soda, and should not harm the granite . I use regular Palmolive ans leave it for five minutes and wash it. No stain. If it is synthetic, it is another deal . Backing soda is great for this

I have the same problem. I have found that using an oily substance makes the sink look polished. You can use mineral oil, cooking oil, etc. My favorite is Orange Glo. I rub it on with a paper towel, and it cleans, shines, and smells great!
