When we moved in, the back splash behind the kitchen sink was paintable wallpaper...that wasn't painted. It wasn't washable. Every time it got wet, it would discolor. It was ugly and impractical. On a limited budget and a prayer...I hit the dollar store for shelf liner...
The back splash when we first moved in. And you can see the "lovely" orange kitchen wall color!
5 rolls of shelf liner and some glue! It looks much better and it's completely washable.
