Is there a sure-fire way to get rid of Creeping Charley?
How about diatomaceous earth. It kills them without a poison, and you apply it to anywhere they might be coming in. You should use a dust mask when applying since it can irritate your lungs.
I've read that cornmeal is great to get rid of ants, they can't digest it but they'll eat it up. Peppermint oil around windows, outside doors and wherever the ants congrigate will help too.
I use diatomaceous earth. It works great and is safe. It is a powder made of crushed shells and coral. It cuts any insect with a exoskeleton causing them to dehydrate and die. I would also wipe as much down with vinegar. This gets rid of there scent trial.
Sugar plus borax in equal portions. Sugar to attract, borax to kill. The cats ate the cornmeal.
We used to call them "sugar ants"! So tiny but terribly annoying! I had great luck with borax & also diatomaceous earth (available at pool stores & home improvement store in pool/garden areas) Both are safe around kids & pets, so I've been told. Also bay leaves placed around cabinets/countertops sometimes work!
place bowls of apple cider vinegar covered with saran wrap poked with small holes
Hi there, you can make your own borax ant traps? They work really well for us. Here's a video that will show you how - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwIOb5FjY30
