Brr! Drafty windows- how to cut the draft?

I don't personally like the block windows. It is more difficult to get out in case of fire.
This depends on how much you like to have clear glass in the basement. Safety wise, it would be wise, to go to a cement block., then no one can be watching you, thru cement blocks. J.
Do you have an exit from the basement other than the stairway to the upper level? Are the windows large enough for emergency escape?
I am leaning toward keeping the standard clear basement windows rather than block. I value the nat light. Thank you for responding
They are large enough for a child to pass through
