It is to late for fertilizer now
I don't know where Nepa is but in Arkansas now is the time to fertilize for next spring's growth. I like Miracle Grow, just hook it on the hose and spray.
Do you live in north east Pennsylvania? It may be a little late in the season. But check with the agricultural extension service, just to be sure.
