How to get dog pee smell out of house?
My brother has 3 dogs and his house smell real bad of dog pee! He cleans but the smell is over and beyond terrible. He says he can't smell it bat it's bad.
usually intact males are who mark territory. if he's fixed i would give febreeze a try. and if he's not have him neutered.
Wash all floors with white vinegar,or use Naturs Miracle which is another enzyme cleaner
Get a cork...... (just kidding, couldn't resist!)
neuter him.
I get it! A bit of a problem at my house too. While neutered males are supposedly less likely to mark their territory, that has not been my experience at all. My house is referred to among my friends as "The Dog Park" as I have 6 dogs (3 are mine and 3 from next door), and always visiting dogs. Even though my 2 resident male dogs are neutered and my friends male dogs are neutered there is ALWAYS a pee contest. Outside, no problem, a hose and baking soda fixes that right quick.
Vinegar works wonders, but may not be appropriate for all surfaces. Wash everything from top to bottom and initially watch them like a hawk, but expect an accident or two until they know this is their new home.
There are a number of products out on the market, some that people swear by - hopefully they will offer suggestions. I am nature girl and stick with non chemical remedies. See If these links help!

Did you know there are up to 300 million olfactory receptors in their noses, compared to about six million in us? So, do the best you can cleaning up to where you can't smell it and walk with your dog around the entire house. Let him smell all he wants, but don't let him lift his leg. Keep walking around with him until he shows no more interest in the smells. He won't revisit a smell he's already encountered to mark. Good luck.
Thank you for all your great answers. Both my female and male are rescues, still finding some of their little tricks. Doesn't matter how long you have them they are always full of surprises. They have been with me most of their lives so we love each other and are a good four some with the 14 year old cat.
My fixed male dog does this too - drives me crazy! I have found this stuff called Nature's Miracle that works well. I buy it on Amazon, but I am sure you can get it at Walmart or other retailers. Also, if you can replace any carpet, that would help - the smells from the other dogs are embedded in the flooring, no doubt. Hope it helps.
Have you tried doggie diapers? It's a wrap that goes around a male dogs belly and contains his pecker. Uses velcro..they work FANTASTIC...I had an elderly dog that lost control and this gave us another few years with him not ruining my home. I bought one...then made many more myself to alternate. I used a womans maxi pad in it...worked great..of course you whip it off when he goes outside . SO easy and so useful
