you can use bins or boxes or baskets, whatever makes is easy to access the stuff you need. Specialty racks for the inside of cupboard doors, etc. It might be possible to retro fit your lower cabinets for deep drawers to get to stuff easier.

If you have an IKEA in your area... check out some of the things they have for organization to give you ideas... you can access them online too... but not everything is "ship-able"

When we re-did our kitchen.. I opted for pull outs, and drawers in all my lower cabinets... it made a HUGE difference in getting to things without crawling into the cabinets (less "lost" stuff too)

I purchase some of those wire shelves that you just place on the shelf in your cabinet, it will double your space. Lets you use from bottom to top.

They have cheap wooden cabinets you can buy at Big Lots. Look at Goodwill or Thrift shops and you are sure to find something you can transform into a cabinet. Have your husband build you something with or without wheels, in case you would have to keep it elsewhere.

These are great suggestions ! I also use hooks for my small kitchen- I use them in the cabinets and on the wall to take best advantage of spots that otherwise wouldn't be used
