Just this week I saw at Walmart, varietites of scent for making home made candles, and potpourries. There were also bags of clean pinecones on the shelf so I am thinking that this product is suggested for scenting them as well. You might want to check out the craft/diy home decorating dept.
You can buy cinnamon and apple scented oils to put on pinecones. Put them in a plastic bag over night with the oils and take them out the next day. Reapply as needed.
