Get a plain tile either black or white, I got mine at Lowe's for 11 cents each. Glue it into place with hot glue, E6000 or builders glue. Caulk around the edges.
Or replace with a Mirror Tile or replace and if it isn't a good match, cover it and others with Stickley backed tiles or Transfers......
I've always been able to find old pieces on Ebay or in the backrooms of older tile stores, and architectural recyclers.
Place a decorative tile in the old spot for interest. Consider removing random tiles elsewhere and replace them with decorative tiles, too, to make it look like it was intended.
I’d try eBay to and find matching tiles. Otherwise you could maybe buy new tiles that match as closely as possible
