Regarding an Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer

I've had this thermometer sitting on my upstairs bathroom window sill for a couple years. A small electric cord goes outside to measure that temperature and it leaves a small open crack at the bottom of the window. I've stuffed it with newspaper, but would like a more attractive, temporary filling....any suggestions?

Try a draft stopper if you have a window sill..check Pinterest

Or get a battery operated one. They work very well.

There are others that you hang out side, and a wire hangs from it. It'll give you the temperature, no draft. Hang it just outside the window, so you can see it.
