I used KrudKutter from Amazon. It cut of all the gease and old polish. I then wiped with a damp cloth and dried them. Then I used a microfiber sponge and coated them with wood restrorer. You can use ith mor than one coat. Everybody says they look new. Did not take long. I then did this to all my real wood furniture. All looked great.

I find the best cleaner for cabinets, especially kitchen cabinets that might have grease and food splatter to be Krud Kutter. You can find it at a home supply store.
Murphy's Oil Soap is what I use for all woodwork. Old English products work well too.
I use Old English liquid soap. Put some in a bucket with some water and just wash down my cabinets. Then I finish it up with a lemon oil rub.
Murphy's Oil Soap (use very little soap) and for maintenance, I like to use Bona for wood cabinets.
