Cut your choice of wood to fit and glue it with a wood glue.
Yes you can! Wood glue won't hold to tile. Use all purpose construction adhesive in caulk tube. Please post your project. A great idea for many Hometalkers.
thank you.
The best way to attach a wood top to tile is to predrill through the tile before you put the top on. Select your wooden top, center it, then drill from underneath to create a pilot hole. Just don't go all the way through. A little shorter than the screw you're going to use is good. As long as the tile is secure, you may not need any adhesive. But it wouldn't hurt to use it. Secure your top from underneath, and you're good to go. Just remember to seal your wooden surface. This is what I would do. Good luck.
