Pallet in great shape, any ideas for a DIY project?
My last project with a pallet was making it into a shelf (picture here) http://blissfullychicdiy.blogspot.com/2014/03/diy-rustic-pallet-shelf.html
I loved that but want to try something new!
Thanks!

Z on Mar 21, 2014There's always the pallet coffee table. Some take no more construction than drilling holes at the corners to add large casters. https://www.google.com/search?q=Benches+from+bed&safe=active&client=firefox-a&hs=IET&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&channel=sb&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=W60sU4OxGMLH2QX844DoAw&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAQ&biw=1280&bih=890#channel=sb&q=pallet+coffee+table&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&safe=active&tbm=ischHelpful Reply

Spheramid Enterprises on Mar 22, 2014It's pine. It's kindling. You can get the same wood at Lowes dirt cheap and save a ton of labor and time.Helpful Reply

Redeemwood on Mar 22, 2014Pine or not I think the idea is to not only recycle but make something creative and fun out of something discarded.... It does look like the side is stamped HT (hard to see) so that is a good thing!Helpful Reply

Jeanette S on Mar 22, 2014You could add more strips across that outside frame and put in shallow shelves. Just make sure everything is screwed down tightly. Then finish it in a charcoal paint and hang it on the wall above a table or buffet to hold beautiful glasses. You can even add lighting with rope lighting at the top.Helpful Reply

Irish53 on Mar 23, 2014I would make myself a bench to lay on outdoors. Cut pallet wide enough for plenty of room. Use remainder of wood to make legs. Add large wheels on one end to move around yard.Helpful Reply
