Try this
Change your mind about the sanding, unless the cabinets are in perfect shape. Even then, you should lightly sand so the paint adheres better. At least that's what I would do. Anyone else?
chalk paint works wonders. You will have to wash them first, but no sanding required.
ESP Primer then undercoat and then Top coat.
