WE stored them in a paper bag in the basement where it is fairly dark.
Cool Dry Frost Free place in netting bags away from Mice etc....
Cut any growth down to the bulb, make sure they are dry, and store in a paper bag in a dark, dry area (a pantry or basement)
Dry, dark area.
We keep our glad bulbs in an old wood basket sitting in the cool dry shop. Works great.
