I learned to crochet about 2 years ago by watching youtube videos. There are thousands of videos from learning the very basics to making anything you could possibly think of. Some presenters are better than others so you just have to look at several until you find one that you can follow. I highly recommend it !
A couple of great resources for this are Pinterest and YouTube for tutorials and videos. There are tons of great videos that you can watch and follow along with. After you have figured out the basic steps, go to Ravelry.com for free patterns, ideas, etc. Good luck!
lots of you tube tutorials free and easy to follow, replay at your own pace etc
I taught myself how to crochet by watching videos on YouTube.
You might check to see if there are any yarn stores in your area. Sometimes they give lessons.
Find a lady (in a senior living facility?) that would be willing to teach you. That would be a win-win.
There are books and classes that can teach you. If you, join a group such as W.I or Church Group or Community Group - ask some if there is anyone of their group who would be willing to help you.......
I learned when I took a free class at a new yarn shop that opened in town.
