There are lots of great cleaners out there and some homemade potions worth trying. Why don't you tell us what kind of tub you have, (steel, cast iron, acrylic) and give us a description of the stains.
Reminds me of my dad who seemed to always be asking if we had any "good glue". They are all good but only work with the specific material and conditions for which they were designed. Dad never quite understood.
You need to know the tub material & probable source of the stain. Your solution could be detergents, bleaches or acids! So: KNOW before you GO!
Have you tried a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser? Whenever I have a hard time getting out a stain anywhere, that is my go to! Even red hair dye stains which is nearly impossible with any other cleaner that I have tried!
Good luck!
